I think Les would have been touched by the fact that he had meant so much to so many of us. He was a true gentleman; kind, considerate, witty and such fun at times. He could also be deep, brooding and sensitive at times but then I am sure that can be true of the best of us (including myself). I was so pleased and comforted to meet all his friends and realise he had been surrounded by such warmth, support and fun throughout his life. It was brilliant to hear even more great stories of his escapades and the interesting people he met and places he visited. I am still trying to get his dog Toby a home,as I unfortunately have not got a house of my own, but am determined he will find a happy home as Les would have wanted nothing less. Any further ideas re any possible links to a home would be gratefully received, but please know that we will not allow him to be put down and will do our best to do right by him as Les adored him and he is such a affectionate dog with such character. Please feel welcome to post on the site photos, rememberances and details of things Les loved. If you can't post them on the site for any reason, please e-mail myself or Barry and we will endeavour to put them ont his site or set up another. I heard people talking about another photo book which is a lovely idea. If this comes to fruition maybe you could post the address on this site if you felt you wanted to or if it would be helpful. No pressure on anyone though as I am sure we may all have our own ways of remembering Les. I think Luke's idea of Les's friends sharing contact details via this site initially is a great idea. If you would like to send these in as a comment for others to access please feel free. Love Julie xxx
